Ziggeo: Spicing Up Your Conferences

This coming week, The Publishing Point (an organization I founded that educates people in publishing about the digital space) is organizing The Great Debate at the London Book Fair.  The topic of the debate is Amazon: Friend or Foe?

I thought it would be fun to use Ziggeo to gather short 20 second videos from folks around the world weighing in on whether or not Amazon is a friend of the publishing industry.

The videos are being submitted directly to my private screening room.  If I get enough videos I like, I’ll download them (with interviewees’ permission, of course) and feature them in a fun video that mixes different voices and viewpoints.  I can then show them at the event itself.

Feel free to try out Ziggeo and submit your own thoughts on the debate.  Who knows, you may find yourself on a big screen at the London Book Fair. Oh, and case you’re at the London Book Fair next week, consider attending the Great Debate -- it's one of the most popular events at the fair.  You can sign up here.  It’s free with a pass to the fair. Next time you’re organizing a conference or event, you might consider using Ziggeo to spice it up. ---- Ziggeo lets you simply and easily record video interviews.  Interviewees record short videos of themselves for your own private viewing. Useful for screening job candidates, roommates, babysitters, dates and anyone on Craigslist.  Also useful for gathering media interviews and customer testimonials on video.
