Asynchronous Video: First Round of Interviews For All

Asynchronous video has allowed employers to extend a first round of interviews to all candidates applying. How is this done? By asking each candidate to answer the exact same question on video with the exact same time parameters, you are giving each candidate an equal chance. So in effect, rather than weeding out candidates before hearing from them, you are allowing all candidates to participate the first round of interviews. It's a way to level the playing field as you are not limiting those you interview to those who went to a certain school or have certain job experience.
