Our Founder’s Story
Our company was created to solve our founder's own problem, She wanted to “meet” hundreds of seemingly qualified candidates for a position she was looking to fill but simply didn't have the time. Most looked good on paper and yet she knew if she met them individually she'd be able to instantly tell who would be a good fit.
She also realized she didn't have the time to schedule live video sessions (e.g. with Skype) which not only required advanced scheduling but also significant time with each candidate.
So she turned to recorded video -- what she found to be the ideal solution. She realized that by creating a system to capture candidate videos, she'd be able to virtually “meet” hundreds of candidates. And in effect, each could have a first round of interview that went beyond resumes and cover letters.
She recognized that recorded videos gave a window into each personality that resumes and cover letters simply couldn't. It was the spark, and personality that shined -- those indescribably traits far more important than where someone went to school or their formal credentials.
And then she began to understand that recorded videos went far beyond recruitment. The power of asynchronous video -- to spotlight passions within any community, customer-base or group -- is incredibly powerful. It's a tool that is only beginning to be utilized across all communities. And one that represents the future of where video is going.
