Browser-based Recording is Broken (Until We Came Along) 

Browser-based recording and comparability is a nightmare. Here are the different formats required to record videos across different browsers:

You'll see that depending on the browser or mobile device, the required format differs wildly. 

We fixed that. Our recorder records across all browsers and devices.  That includes a default to WebRTC, / HTML5 video recording but when necessary, we fall back to Flash.
