Have a [Trim] welcome

You have just positioned yourself in a perfect place. The window is in front of you and the sun is not too bright. Things look good as sun is just softly touching your face, separating you from the background. Your hair is all done, text prepared in your mind. You hit that record button and your smile is interrupted with a "wow".

Yup, we all had at one point or the other the cat surprise jump in our face. Seems to kind of always happen just as we are ready for everything else. Especially when it counts. So there you are, quickly going back to the video interview for example and try to make it all look normal.

Well before that is the video you would get. The interview with the cat jump as well. Sure we all love cats - well maybe some say they do not, still if there was only a way of cutting that part out to make it all perfect.

Now, that is possible. All you need is to add the allowtrim parameter to enable the trimming experience for anyone recording the video. As you do they will immediately be able to cut out any specific points of the video that they think should be removed.

This makes it easier for everyone and requires just one take instead of trying to record many re-recordings until that perfect one.

How do you trim videos?

The trimming is enabled by adding allowtrim parameter. That is it really. You can upload or record the video and the trimming will be made available to you afterwards.

If your browser supports opening the video right away then trimming will be available right away. When that is not the case then once it is uploaded to our servers and processed it will be available for trimming.

Once you select the position in the video, you can just click on the trim button to have the video captured.

If you have set up the mintimelimit then the same time be used as the minimal one for the trimming process.

You will need to use at least the r38 revision for this feature to be available.
