News from Ziggeo

Note from the Founders:

Now that school’s in full swing, we thought we’d get into the school spirit by announcing a new series of talks. First up: "How to Hire for Start-Ups" featuring Albert Wenger of Union Square Ventures. More info below, and you can RSVP here. In the meantime, we've been busy releasing improvements to Ziggeo that include a brand new video player and faster messaging.

Improved Messaging

We've improved our messaging system so you can now simply hit "reply" right from your email inbox. That way you can respond directly to candidates when they leave you messages. And your email address will still remain private. You can read more about it here.

Brand New Video Player

We've just installed a brand new video player on Ziggeo which will improve your video-watching experience, particularly on mobile devices. You can read more about it here.

Increased Size of Videos

You'll no longer need to squint when you watch candidate videos; we've increased the video size on your screen. Turns out: bigger is better. You can read more about it here.

Optimized for firewalls

Ziggeo videos can now be seen through corporate firewalls. That way, companies who want to see candidate videos won't be blocked from seeing them. You can read more about it here.

RSVP to "How to Hire for Start-Ups"

We've just announced the first in "A Series of Insights", featuring surprising insights in the way people live, work and interact. First up: "How to Recruit for Start-ups" held in New York City presented by Albert Wenger, Managing Partner of Union Square Ventures. He'll give tips and pointers on how to convince top candidates to forego better salary and benefits to join the world of start-ups. You can RSVP here.

Ziggeo lets you quickly and easily pre-screen candidates by watching their videos. Candidates simply record short videos of themselves for your own private viewing.
