Pre-recorded Video Interviews Saves Opportunity Costs
In previous posts we've discussed the time and money-savings benefits of using pre-recorded video interviews. In this post, we'd like to address the opportunity cost in not using recorded video interviews.
That is, each time there is a large pool of candidates that have submitted resumes and cover letters, it can come down to pure guesswork as to which of those candidates are worth the time interviewing. That's because resumes and cover letters can all look alike.
With prerecorded video interviews, you'll be able to easily distinguish one candidate from another -- and quickly tell whom you'd want to invite in for an interview.
It's quite possible that without a video, you'd have ignored your best candidates. Those are the candidates who might not have stellar resumes or the best cover letters but who turn out to have the passion and drive that can easily come through on video. By not seeing videos of those candidates up front you'll be losing out. ]And that can be a serious opportunity cost.

Ziggeo lets you quickly and easily pre-screen candidates by watching their videos. Candidates simply record short videos of themselves for your own private viewing.
