My Head-Smacking Moments

The first happened while sitting in an interview with a candidate who clearly wasn’t a fit.  I remember thinking: if I only I could have played his video beforehand.  Would have saved me tons of time.  Head smack -- build a platform to capture candidate videos for employers to view. The second came one morning in an investor's meeting after spending a painful year building our own video recording/playback solution.  Let others use the technology we developed for their own platforms (queue: head smack).  We launched Ziggeo’s video APi shortly thereafter. We may all have head-smacking, eureka moments at one time or another – the trick of course is acting on them.
