Ziggeo: Video Recording and Playback API

We are thrilled to announce the commercial release of Ziggeo’s Video Recording and Playback API. With our API, adding video to your site or service requires only a few lines of code. You’ll now be able to easily include video comments, videos on user profiles, video testimonials, videos from job candidates, video messages, video reviews of products and whatever else you can think of. In building out Ziggeo’s API we focused on four key principles: simplicity, ubiquity, customizability, and security.
  • Simplicity: integrating video recording and playback requires only a few lines of code.  Ziggeo takes care of everything else including hosting the videos and transcoding them to different formats.
  • Ubiquity: we support all web browsers and have mobile SDKs for iOS and Android
  • Customizability: the Ziggeo player and recorder are easily skinnable using CSS on the web and parameters on mobile
  • Security: our token-based approach makes sure you can control programmatically who has access to which videos.
Our pricing is straightforward, and we have a calculator that lets you see how much our API will cost you.  You can start playing with the API for free. An example of how easy it is to use Ziggeo’s API is USV’s analyst application. In a few hours USV built a page that lets people apply for the analyst application by answering two separate questions on video. USV received over 300 applications. The videos made it possible for each candidate to be reviewed by a partner at the firm. We’re excited to see how you’ll use Ziggeo to add video to your site or service. Please contact us with any questions. PS For those of you who have been using Ziggeo’s screening rooms, we’re terribly sorry for any inconvenience. We’ve contacted you separately to explain the transition and have also posted our note here. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@ziggeo.com for any help.

Ziggeo API provides an easy and secure way to integrate recording and playing of videos into any site.
