What’s Responsive, Gorgeous and Flexible?
Here's our latest newsletter:
This year started off with a bang. Two awesome releases:
- A first for video players -- it’s responsive, gorgeous and flexible (no rude comments, please)
- A free, open-source tool called FixMe that automatically fixes your coding mistakes
Plus a few non-techie random suggestions.
First Responsive Video Player
We just overhauled our video player to make it the first responsive video player out there. It’s built entirely from scratch (no outside dependencies); HTML5-based with Flash fallback; has a gorgeous design; and is fully customizable.
And that’s not all. Drumroll please... we'll soon be open-sourcing our video player. Follow us on Twitter @ziggeoinc to find out our release date.
FixMe
Spending way too much time fixing coding errors? Oliver decided to do something about it. He created FixMe, a free open-source tool that automatically fixes your coding mistakes.
Random thoughts...
From Oliver:
- Really enjoyed reading Never Let Me Go and re-reading (for the umpteenth time) Lord of the Flies and 1984.
- I’m off to a healthy start binging on Bonchon’s deep fried chicken (well, OK, not exactly healthy -- and no, I’m not an investor -- just addicted)
- A little known, pretty good movie I saw: Star Wars
- Congrats to Susan who was just named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Women of Influence 2016
From Susan:
- If you haven’t yet seen Hamilton, the musical: hock your children, mortgage your house -- do whatever it takes -- it’s a MUST SEE.
- “What is a weekend?” -- loving Maggie Smith in Downton Abbey (finally had the time to binge-watch it) - such fun!
- Just read: Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes: loved it!
- And yes, that was Oliver you saw riding through Manhattan in sub-zero temperatures on his Citibike.
