Yes! Ziggeo is GDPR Compliant!
We are happy to announce that Ziggeo is GDPR compliant.
GDPR is a regulation that requires businesses to protect the personal data and privacy of EU citizens for transactions that occur within EU member states. Because of this compliance at this time is a must.
The law also includes the threat of large fines for non-compliance, which can reach 4% of global revenue or €20 million, depending on the severity and circumstances of the violation.
A very good reason to make sure you are using providers that are GDPR compliant.
Some of the important steps we took to achieve compliance
- Using highest industry standards as our guideline for what is normal to expect;
- Constant improvements over how we process and safely store your data;
- Conducting security tests against our system by internal teams as well as third parties;
- We setup procedures on what to do in the unlikely event of a data breach;
- Completely separated infrastructure between different regions and more
A data processing agreement (standard contractual clauses) is available to customers upon request for signage.
