Ziggeo’s API for Video Recording and Playback: Enrich Events and Conferences with Videos
Ziggeo's API for video recording and playback is a wonderful tool to enrich your event or conference. There are a number of ways this can be done; we've listed just a few:
- Figure out which speakers are right for your conference by having them recording and submit a short video on what they will discuss -- and possibly even a sample talk so that you can get a full picture
- Once the speakers are chosen, ask them to record a short video introducing their session. You'll then be able to post that video next to the session name so that attendees can get a real feel as to whether that's the session for them
- As part of attendees' profiles, ask attendees to introduce themselves on video. Attendees will be able to get a real feel for each other by watching one another's videos.
- Ask attendees and speakers to record videos centered around a particular theme in the conference. You can feature those videos in a "Wall of Videos" at the conference that's played in a loop; use those videos as part of a mashup in an introductory video or video played to close out the conference.
- Extend the number of speakers by asking those who cannot attend the conference to record a short video-- possibly a takeaway or lesson or something that speaks to the theme of the conference. Perfect for well-known speakers who can't actually attend the conference.
- Ask speakers to record mini-classes or lessons (e.g. 2 minutes) or take-aways that you could use either at the conference, as a lead-up to the conference, or to keep your conference top of mind throughout the year. Imagine launching such a mini-lesson each week when the conference isn't taking place.
