Ziggeo’s Data Day: How Long it Takes to Receive Recorded Video Applications

Ziggeo’s data suggests that for a typical request for video recorded interviews, approximately one-half of the candidates will send in their recorded applications to interviewers within the first three weeks after the interviewer opens his or her screening room and another one-quarter will submit recorded videos within the following month.

More specifically, as Ziggeo’s following data chart shows, 19.4% of applicants submit their interviews in week one, 19.1% of applicants submit in week two, approximately 10% for weeks 3 to 5, and thereafter a long trail of applicants trickle in, in reduced numbers:

  • Week 1 : 19.4%
  • Week 2 : 19.1%
  • Week 3 : 11.0%
  • Week 4 : 10.4%
  • Week 5 : 9.4%
  • Week 6 : 4.2%
  • Week 7 : 2.1%
  • Week 8 : 0.9%
  • After Week 8: 23.5% (i.e. about one quarter), with approximately 0.5% each week thereafter

For planning purposes, then, interviewers should expect to be busiest in the first two weeks after opening their screening rooms and initially sending out or posting a request for recorded video interviewers.

Ziggeo lets you quickly and easily pre-screen candidates by watching their videos. Candidates simply record short videos of themselves for your own private viewing.
