Image-Only Effect Profiles

Have you ever felt the need to embed real video linked images in your customer outreach emails?

With Ziggeo's new Image-Only Effect Profiles, creating specialized images automatically from the videos will become a cakewalk.

Possible Use Cases:

  • Insert the image with a play button on top into an email. Once you do link it to the actual video player on a webpage.
  • Add "click bait" type of effects on the video. These are common on YT where you have smiley faces and alike all over the video for the first "ad" image.
  • Create alternative images for video (A/B tests). Use it to see if your customers click more on the image with drawing effect or on the natural one. Once you know the interest, you know how to change the videos.

How to :

  • Create an effect profile by heading over to App > Manage > Effect Profiles
  • Check the Image Only check box as shown in below image.
  • Want to add additional filter and generate the associated image? Then you need to select the 'image only' check box while adding the filter as shown in the below image.
  • That's it! Now, you just need to apply this effect profile to your embedding or particular video from the dashboard and you will have your image!
  • You will find the image URL in the video data and can be queried via API.
  • An example of the complete URL would be:
