Ziggeo: Data Day – Interviewer Videos Triple Number of Candidates

This week we dug into our data to find out whether videos recorded by interviewers introducing themselves, their companies and their open positions affect the likelihood that candidates will apply to a position and submit their own videos.  We were surprised at the results.  Turns out that candidates were three times more likely to apply to a position when interviewers include their own videos.  To be exact (since it is Data Day after all), there are 3.04 times more candidates who apply (and submit their own videos) to an open position that includes an interviewer's video than those that don't. So the next time you're wavering whether to spend time recording your own video to highlight an open position, rest assured it's worth your time.  Tripling the number of candidates is nothing to sneeze at.
